ERF-SNMMI Annual Meeting Travel Award: ERF-SNMMI Travel Awards support the attendance of students, postdoctoral scholars and clinical trainees in the field of nuclear medicine or molecular imaging, who will present abstracts at the SNMMI Annual Meeting. This application is NOT for nuclear medicine technologists and nuclear medicine technology students.

Deadline is January 10, 2019

A limited number of $1,000 awardees will be selected. Selection of recipients will be based upon several criteria:

  • the abstract ranking by the judges
  • the number of orals or posters for which the applicant is the designated presenter
  • the number of orals and posters for which the applicant is the first author

The SNMMI Travel Awards are made possible through a grant from the Education and Research Foundation for Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Applicants must be students, postdoctoral scholars and clinical trainees in nuclear medicine or molecular imaging.
  • SNMMI membership is required. (Membership is free for students and trainees; for more information visit http://www.snmmi.org/Membership/)
  • Please complete the online application by the application deadline. You will be required to provide the control number(s) of your submitted abstract(s).

**Please note that past Travel Award recipients are eligible to apply as long as all eligibility criteria are met.

ERF SNMMI-TS Annual Meeting Travel Awards for CNMT and RT(N):  SNMMI-Technologist Section (TS) Travel Awards support the attendance of nuclear medicine technologists (NMTs) and nuclear medicine technology students to present accepted abstracts at the SNMMI Annual Meeting.

ERF SNMMI-TS Annual Meeting Travel Awards for Nuclear Medicine Technology Students
:  The ERF SNMMI-Technologist Section (TS) Travel Awards support the attendance of nuclear medicine technology (NMT) students at the SNMMI Annual Meeting to present accepted abstracts.

Deadline is February 11, 2019

A limited number of $1,000 awardees will be selected. Selection of recipients will be based upon several criteria:

  • the abstract ranking by the judges
  • the number of orals or posters for which the applicant is the designated presenter
  • the number of orals and posters for which the applicant is the first author

The SNMMI-TS Travel Awards are made possible through a grant from the Education and Research Foundation for Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Applicants must currently be enrolled as a NMT students who will be presenting an accepted abstract(s) at the upcoming SNMMI Annual Meeting.
  • Applicant must be an SNMMI-TS member (Student membership is free! Visit snmmi.org/membership for more information.)
  • Please complete the entire online application by the application deadline. You will need to provide the control number(s) of your submitted abstract(s).

2019 ERF SNMMI-TS Bachelors or Masters Degree Completion Scholarship
:  The SNMMI-TS Bachelors or Masters Degree Completion Scholarship serves to support current nuclear medicine student technologists in a BS or MS nuclear medicine technology training program or nuclear medicine technologists who are pursuing a BS or MS degree related to their nuclear medicine careers.

Deadline is January 2, 2019

This scholarship is made possible through a grant from the Education and Research Foundation for Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging.

The following information is required for the application:

  • Completed online form.
  • Current resume or curriculum vitae.
  • Official transcripts of all formal education issued directly from the institution’s registrar office.
  • An applicant statement not to exceed two pages, and should detail your activity level in the SNMMI Technologist section (SNMMI-TS) or what committee’s you plan on becoming part of and address the following questions: What are your professional achievements? What are your career and educational goals? How will receiving a Bachelor’s Degree or Entry-Level Master’s Degree help you to achieve your goals?
  • A professional or academic colleague who can respond to a 15-question reference questionnaire regarding your achievements and character.

To be eligible for the SNMMI-TS Entry Level (BA, MS) Degree Completion Scholarship, candidates must:

  • Be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s level or Entry-level Master’s program to advance his/her career in nuclear medicine.
  • Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or better on a 4.0 grading scale.
  • Be an active member of the SNMMI-TS.


2019 ERF SNMMI-TS Advanced Degree Award
:  The ERF SNMMI-TS Advanced Degree Award serves to support a student who is pursuing an advanced program to advance his/her career in nuclear medicine. This award is available to all advanced degree programs.

Deadline is January 2, 2019

This award is made possible through a grant from the Education and Research Foundation for Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging.

REQUIREMENTS

The following information is required for the application:

  • A completed online application
  • Current resume or curriculum vitae.
  • Most recent official transcript of formal education issued directly from the institution’s registrar office. If there has not been any formal education, copy of the program acceptance notification.
  • An applicant statement not to exceed two pages, which details your activity level in the SNMMI Technologist section (SNMMI-TS) and address the following questions: What are your professional achievements? What are your career and educational goals? How will your Nuclear Medicine advanced degree program help you to achieve your goals?
  • Recommendations from a professional colleague and a physician who can respond to a 15-question reference questionnaire regarding your achievements and character.

To be eligible for the SNMMI-TS Advanced Degree Award, applicants must:

  • Be currently accepted into an Advanced Degree Program
  • Be an active member of the SNMMI-TS.
